RPL is committed to inclusivity and anti-racism and this is reflected in our collections, events, partnerships, and services. The purpose of library programming is to build a strong and equitable community while welcoming all to connect and learn. In addition, library programming is developed based on available staff and other resources.

Library Partnerships

The library partners with the community for programming and encourages multiple points of view in a neutral environment.  We look for areas of common interest where both the community partner and the library bring value to the programming effort.

The library has the ability to contribute space, staffing, equipment and marketing to a partnership initiative.  The library also has the ability to gather supplemental resources to support ongoing learning from the program and can create supportive bibliographies and library guides.

Partner organizations are not allowed to solicit funds, personal information, or promote commercial services.  It is acceptable to make available promotional materials about the organization on a table at the back of the program.

The library frequently partners with community organizations to present programming consistent with the library's mission and core values. If you would like to submit a proposal for adult, youth or Wellness Corner programs please complete the form below:

If you are unable to complete the online form, you may email the completed PDF form to Kim Edson (adult programs), Heather Acerro (youth and family programs) or Susan Hansen (wellness programs).

Due to Covid-19, program partnerships are currently on hold. Feel free to submit your form and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
