The Rochester Public Library offers meeting rooms for individuals, community organizations, and businesses that wish to provide an open forum for knowledge, ideas, and cultural enrichment.

Any questions regarding interpretation of this policy shall be referred to the Library Director.

      Meeting Room A (main floor) for groups up to 15*

      • Tables - 4' up to 6

        • Community Group/Non-Profit/Government - $5.00
        • Individuals/For-Profit - $10

        Meeting Room B (2nd floor) - for groups up to 30*

        • Tables - 5' up to 8
        • Chairs
        • Screen
        • White board
        • Wifi
        • Ceiling projector
        • Hourly Rate:
          • Community Group/Non-Profit/Government - $7.50
          • Individuals/For-Profit - $15.00

        *The actual number of people rooms can accommodate may vary with different table and chair arrangements.

        Reserving/Scheduling a Meeting Room

        If you have questions with the policy or scheduling, please call 507.328.2310. Try our  online reservation system - you can now pay with a credit card! Rooms may be booked up to 90 days in advance.

        Study Rooms

        Three small study rooms are available on the second floor on a first come, first-served basis. These rooms are available for studying, typing or tutoring with a maximum of two people per room. Obtain a key at the Information Services Desk. During busy times, study room use is limited to two hours.

        Partnering with the library

        The library partners with the community for programming that encourages multiple points of view in a neutral environment.  We look for areas of common interest where both the community partner and the library bring value to the programming effort.
